"The Red Bulls will deal a couple of draft picks to the Los Angeles Galaxy, according to league-wide sources."

Heck, who knew we had any draft picks left. Welcome home Johnny.

First Dunnivant, now Woly - players Lalas has traded twice.

    FAN-tastic! :D

Not a great player but a hard-working good one.

Now we can get rid of Buddle :D ;)

I like this. Not like I would the arrival of, say... Dean Ashton or Henrik Larsson. But maybe Buddle can now learn what it means to hustle from someone who really knows how?

    Welcome home Johnny.

FAN-frickin'-TASIC!!!! We have a player, that's a true striker/forward, that can get balls into the back of the net! Maybe this will motivate Buddle as well.

But what the hell do you think that a second round pick would do. Light it up? I think this is a very good move becuase it adds depth and lets hope that he can regain his super-sub form. I hope this brings competition to Buddle so he can get his head out of his ass.

Thanks so much for the link and the heads up... I am so glad John is back... he is such a hard worker and deserves to play and be close to home... John was the first player from my club in Staten Island (Silver Lake SC) to make it to the pros and do well... Come on home John and score some great goals for our Bulls...

Um, didn't Lalas trade the Donovan allocation when he was with the Earthquakes? Shall we go three for three? Is that too much to hope for?

I'm really happy to see Woly back home where he belongs.

With all due respect...Woly is a good guy and has made himself a good pro but he aint your answer. Think about some of the later round draft picks of recent memory:

2nd Round: Seth Stammler, Damani Ralph, Brian Carroll, Brian Ching

3rd Round: Chris Rolfe, Jim Curtin

4th Round: Michael Bradley, Josh Gros, Cory Gibbs

6th Round: Andy Dorman, Jeff Parke

No guarantees in the draft but with Woly being a 29 year-old journeyman forward what do you really get? Yeah, so he's from NY, will work hard and be a good influence but the guy has NEVER been a regular starter in NY, CLB or LA so why would you give up future opportunities to get him?

    Makes no sense to me.
