Jesus getting closer, but still can't score.

Jesus at least putting himself into good positions/ making good runs. Should keep the defense honest.

OZ gets called for foul throw. No idea why.

Then Saliba with an uncharacteristic mistake that gives Guedes an open shot which he screwed wide.

Edit: actually on replay I saw that Gabriel made a vital block/deflection on that shot.

2 cards for Wolves now. Good for Arsenal, and now feeling VERY fortunate for MO.

    HT WOL 0-0 ARS

A fairly terrible exhibition of football. There's only one way to go from here. Or so I think. :p

Jesus in a crouch after the HT whistle, holding his ankle knock. Oy.

didn't release the ball from behind/above his head. Ball was in front of his head as he bent forward and he basically spiked it into the ground. Foul throw in. Not called nearly enough.

    Bad half.

I don't see it with Fabio Vieira.

Looks like he rolled it a little and was trying to walk it off. Ugh.

On that play where Martinelli gave the ball away, gifting them a fast break, OZ was higher up to be able to chase back the break, and yet Martinelli just quickly blew by him. Zinchenko is REALLY slow. Yikes.

He’s young and rail-thin, and didn’t have a pre-season with us. I think we’ve seen enough flashes, while few and far between, to know we’ve got a good player on our hands

PLEASE let's not close this first part of the season with a wimper. Let's SHOW WHAT WE'VE GOT. Maybe less patient possesion football and more urgent, direct, incisive stuff?!

Martinelli looks like he's not gonna be able to just race past his defender. Might try pinching him inside more often, switching with Vieira or Jesus.
