Final is a 2-2 draw, with Dwight Yorke getting a late equalizer. Andy Cole gave Rovers an early 1-0 lead, and Paul Butler and Alex Rae put Wolves on top. Incidentally, the game was coached by Wolves new #2 man, Stuart Gray, as Dave Jones was not in attendence due to a bad case of the flu, which is apparently working its way through the squad. Paul Ince was out tonight as well for the same reason.

So, it's good to get a point and all, but 2-1 up, at home, 15 minutes left, thats 3 points that you have to have, especially with the "Christmas bottom" curse hanging over Wolves already, and the press vultures circling. (For those who don't know, in every Premiership season thus far, the team in last place at Christmas has been relegated) We are still just 4 points out of safety with a game in hand, but the next run of games (ignoring the replay with Kidderminster) is:

    At Charlton (4th place)
    home vs. Manchester United (Leaders)
    home vs. Liverpool (5th)

That's an ugly stretch of games, and if we drop 9 points in that stretch, it may be lights out.

    Wolves - England
Well Wolves should have beaten Manchester United at the start of the season its just that Camara or whatever his name is missed about 6 chances handed to him on a plate!

Wolves just need to sort out their defence, they are gettin the goals.... but their defence.... jeez its crap! Oh and their goalkeepers, jesus christ talk about bad luck!!! Murray probably one of the top 10 Engligh keepers is constantly injured, that guy they got on loan said he was going back and didn't want to stay at Wolves and now all they are left with is Oakes who is crap!
