Looking for a good performance and a win, also an opportunity for me to have a look at Ricardo Rodriguez suggested by some posters as a good backup to Marcelo? I think, never really watched him for a whole game , just seen little bits.

Danilo for Carvajal? Why? I don't know, Carva outclasses him on every aspect, but lets see if Danilo can finally show why we bought him.

 

Danilo has had good form lately, would also help getting fresh legs down the right flank.

 

Dont care about fresh legs or his 'good form' (which was 1 game, he played better on the left). This is the CL, play your best players, Danilo can play in Bernabeu when we win 0-3 here.

Where I used to work, there were so many people who got away with murder in regards to the quality of their work and their productivity. One lady, the Operations Manager, had a job of launching a new service. 2 years later, the service still had no website, only 8 members and among other things, she some how allowed the two sales guys to leave without having a replacement.

Yet, somehow, her performance, productivity and quality of work never got questioned. by senior management. Sure, we all know she was useless and would openly say it amongst each other but when it came to launching a new service or running a department she was useless. But she had a certain demeanor I guess, knew how to look busy and go unnoticed by her superiors. Though again, everyone else could see it.

This is just a really OTT and roundabout way of me saying how the hell does Kroos keep ending up in our starting lineup?! Can't tackle, pass forward and has a very woeful shot. Isco and Kovatic should be in his position 100%.

Danilo has been very good past 3/4 games. I've been one of his biggest critics this season, as well as a major Carvajal fan, but let's give credit where credit is due.
