This may just have been what I saw, but I thought Josh was either nervous or just not social. My friend in DC says he has never been social so, I dunno. Did he talk to anyone else other than Diego and Tony? Just wondering. Hopefully he will be more "chatty" as the season starts.

Well, he talked with Spoon a little bit... who called him Mr. Wolff!!! MR. WOLFF???

They are both 25ish. I didn't hear Josh say, "Mr. Spoon!"

I chatted with Mr. Wolf, and said Hey to KZ with a return jester. Tony sat right in front of Salty and I. Tony and I talked about quite a few things. BTW my respect for Tony went through the roof after Friday. Not that I didn't have "mad love" for him before, just..... I don't know how to explain it sorry. Who else... oh Carrey Tally came over and said hey, didn't talk to Diego. Said hey to Bob before the draft as he walked by but I didn't get a response. How could I forget I saw the Wizards popular pbp guy there talking to KZ.

And besides you can't have a crush on every player.

I dunno, I saw plenty of people talking to him. He had no problem answering questions, signing autographs for people that approached him. But that's about all he can do.

At first I didn't exen recognize him, he looks totally different in person.

Still can't believe he came here. It's one of those things that I won't believe until I actually see him play. Still waiting for the "US Soccer Star Josh Wolff Retires" headline. :D

Thats right...for instance- I don't have a crush on Bo, and when Burns was around I didn't have a crush on him...

BTW, Wolff is a lot hotter in person :D

In person I thought he looked like what's his face.... Meadow's boyfriend in the 3rd season of the Sopranos who got "whacked".

Derek, Matt and I walked into the room well before the meeting started and Josh was setting there. I walked right up and asked him to sign my jersey and then we stood around and asked a few simple questions. He didn't ramble on with his answers, he just quickly answered. He just seemed shy and in a new setting to me. He did seem to open up when he moved up and talked with Diego (a former teammate).

Re: New Journal Entry - joshwolff.net

This is a good journal entry. But I am concerned about the last sentence:
"I am hoping to be back with Wizards when they get back from South Africa, and hopefully I will be able to take part in training in some fashion."

Hmmm, I wonder how long before he actually plays for 90 minutes at Arrowhead?

Looks like Fabbro and Igor for the first month or so.

ypu say that like we are at some kind of disadvantage.

In the last half of the season, Dario scored 11 or so goals for us. Igor scored 5 or 6.

    They are both excellent players.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they are "excellent" either would be the 2nd starter on some MLS teams.

Well I just think that a lot of fans will not realize the extent of Wolff's injury and expect to see him start in April.

If you had to choose two players out of the three, most would list Wolff first and argue over whether Igor or Fabbro should partner with him. All I am saying is we won't have our first choice attack come April.

I am hoping they give Bob G a huge selection headache by doing really well so when Wolff is ready it will be hard for him to drop someone.
