I don't know how many of you got anything on this in the mail but it is some funny stuff that is for sure. I know I am not going even though I am sure a certain "Fat tony" will show up later as Santa. Preki, Tony, and Danger Bob will be there to tell stories. Oh wow I can't wait to here about the time when a Danger Bob team went to Mexico and gave up 6 goals in a half. Now that is entertainment.

I went last year. I had a good time. I got to take pictures with a few of the Wizards. I talked with Curt Johnson. All in all, I thought it was a nice benefit of being a season ticket holder. It makes the off season slightly more bearable.

What is it with everyone and dissing Tony.

"I think he did get a thrill from it ....i kinda felt it when i sat down....eeeewwwwww!!"

If you really know him as a person, and you think that he is a loser off the field, that's fine, but you should at least respect him for what he does on the field.
I have met him many times and I think he's an awesome guy. Maybe that is a fake Tony, but if so, I'll probably never know. In my opinion, and probably Shannon's, he is a cool guy.

What's with the "fat tony" stuff? Everyone talks about how fat he is. He's a large guy, but he is not fat. Fat would mean he has fat rolls, or has trouble running and is unhealthy. He's 33 and still playing soccer. He's a big guy, but not fat!

    ALL MUSCLE BABY! lolol

Just like the DC fans were joking when they were throwing donuts at him?
He is a decent guy and does not deserve this ***************!

Hmmm...DC Fans you say? And this is...a KC board. So people here don't call him fat, thatd be the DC people.

The "Fat Tony" thing I think is seriously a joke on this board (not necessarily on the others). They might be making references to a hit man on The Simpsons who is called Fat Tony...

Trust me, we all respect Tony here. We're just playing around in an immature/sensationalized/exagerrated way. Most of here know that Tony is for the most part, a standup guy. He is probably the face of Wizards soccer for the media around here and we all like what he does for the team on MetroSports. The Fat Tony thing is from the other boards and fans who are bitter about not having him. He's still one of the top keepers in MLS and he's definitely missed when he's not in goal as our adequate backup seems more like swiss cheese due to the fans being spoiled with what we've come accustomed to seeing stopped. I for one am glad he's our keeper and he seems to like it here. Although he's had better years there's maybe only 2 other keepers in the league that are at his level. I'd hate to see what our season would've looked like if we had to stick with Bo or a newbie all year as our defence has become quite slow and pourous. He still has alot of mileage to go before he's the overpaid old guy that should be replaced.
