Saad Abdul Salaam signed with the Sounders. Wow, I thought his career was DOA once NYCFC let him go.

Under the radar, didn't Sapong just go to Chicago?

Colorado get 2 out of their three goals from former SKC guys, Kamara and Feilhaber in the latest Snow Classico. Diego Rubio got lost in the snow with no goals.

The early red card and subsequent subs didn't help my fantasy team. I had Rubio scoring for the Rapids, but since they had to sub him out early he only got a single point.

Bruce Arena just hired ex-wizards coach Curt Onalfo as the technical director of the NE Revolution. Onalfo never had any luck as a head coach of an MLS side, but Arena seems to like him in this new role. We’ll see....

I think he keeps getting head coach roles because he does so well as a backup/assistant/youth guy. But yeah, he definitely fails pretty hard at head coaching. His recent stint leading the Galaxy following Bruce's run was hilarious.

It's good to be friends with Bruce Arena, means you can continue to fail upward.

Technical Director isn't a bit more than an assistant. But then I'm more shocked he's getting another chance in MLS.

Latif had the game winner for LAFC v Portland. He's getting a ton of praise for his play this season. This is not a huge surprise, he was an all action player for us, and really looked as if he was going to get better and better, but it points out just how much the expansion draft sucks. We find him, he looks good, but we lose him for pretty much nothing. BTW, we're back on the losing table for the Miami/Nashville drafts, right?

Yes, everyone will be eligible again for Nashville/Miami. And with Mike Jacobs in Nashville, don’t be surprised when they grab one of ours

Bro, they will always grab one of ours. Even if we aren't good or are lacking depth. KC is the regular whipping boy in the expansion draft.

He did pretty well with Los Dos as coach. Other than that, meh.

He definitely should not be scouting. Never forget the Czech Republic game in 2006. Scouting them was his one job leading up to the World Cup.

The Blue Testament had a story this morning about Jimmy Nielson being linked to a possible position with Sporting KC. Now they pulled the article. Anyone have any insights as to why?

I have no clue why, personally I didn’t think that article needed to be written unless we could read the article it was based on out of Denmark (it was behind a paywall.).
