The next GTG will be held on Friday, February 6th. I know this conflicts with the first look practice, but someone will be at Charlie Hooper's starting at 7 and I will be there around 7:30-7:45. Once again, congregate at the Golden Tee near the back of the place. Hope to see you all there.
I might stop by if anyone is still there after the first-look practice. How late do you people plan on staying?
I was there till 11 PM last time. Mark and Roush were there much later, 1 AM I think. I don't imagine this one will be much different. Come early, stay late. The more, the merrier.
Doesn't look like I will be able to make it. My old lady canceled all her appointments in Lawrence for today because of the weather, which means we have to go back on Sunday. No way I'm making that drive twice in a week.
So, for those of us unable to attend, what are the details? Who showed up? Who "played" well? Who did what? I have never been to one of these events. And there really is no reporting on what happened. So, what happened?
Well we got together at Charlie Hoppers and played golden tee and drank alot of beers. Wrong thread buddie.
Unfortuately Spoon, you missed the best part. After you left, I shot a 16 under on Royal Meadows and beat Mark by 10 strokes.
Not at least while I was there. But then again, maybe an appearance by Mrs. Mark had something to do with that? Roush, I don't think anyone had as much luck as you did last time, but there was a table of lovelies and no guys in sight. You would have been in heaven.
Sorry I missed it. Weather plus having a paper due on Monday meant I missed both the first look practice and Charlie Hoopers. Maybe next time.
