What? They get their pre-season matches on tv? Someone write a letter to Ch.52, they need to take a trip to South Africa.

    Oy!

Even Japan has 'mentioned' cancellations, albeit not MLS related.

Does South Africa have a neo-political motivation in this?

You mean the Burn "ain't gonna play Sun City"?

Could be...Mandella, last week, had some very nasty things to say about Dubbya and his Iraq policies.

"The game has been postponed due to financial difficulties on behalf of organising company Scorpion Sales and Entertainment of El Paso in Texas,"

A total of 800 people showed up for the first two games, and this probably led to the 'financial difficulties.'

I am sure Dallas will be just fine, as long as Scorpion Sales and Entertainment isn't the organising company. :)

You're close. The latest word has it that the Burn are looking to cancel their trip to South Africa and replace it with a trip to Chile.

I don't think the team will go to Chile. Last time they went everyone said that they played against very weak teams. I think they played against some semi-pro teams too.

This is only half true. Some games were not great, but others were good games. Besides, I think there are better places to go for competition than South Africa.

I don't think chile is one of them.

Better than Mexico. All MLS teams get in Mexico are the "C" squads ...
