I like Gary Neville. He hates scousers. But can I wake up at least one morning without seeing some blurb about him critiquing this or the other aspect of world football or saying United need to be "tougher". Never seen this much riding on the every word of a right back who hasn't played regularly in 3 years. Let Sir Alex do the talking.
Apologies. I don't make my way over here that much and I didn't see a Neville thread on the first page. Feel free to patch this in there if it's worth the hassle.
what did Neville say this morning? also most times it isn't separate interviews that are given but quotes taken from one longer interview spread over several news periods. as it is, he's club captain so i'm not sure i see the harm in his words. which i honestly can say i don't see in the press that much but maybe i'm not reading the same sites/papers are you.

As I said, I like Gary and I think he's got something to say unlike most Premier League footballers. But, captain or not, he's not a major player anymore and don't understand why there needs to be whole articles written about his opinions on Liverpool and player agents. Maybe it's the press I should be pissed at. When in doubt.....
yep... seems like two articles are crafted from one interview session and the other two from post-match after the last CL game. maybe it's just me... i guess i don't see the big deal with it. he's earned his right to speak and is probably made more available to the press because he is club captain.
