Evidently he doesn't like the idea of coming for only 4-5 months with no guarantee of playing time.

    Can't blame him.

When is the last time we have seen anything like this from the club? esp. in January.

With the exception of the gamble on CR3.5 I would say not since Moggi.

This new group seems to know what it wants and goes out decisively to get it. That is how you do a transfer winder.

No more trying to save 5 million by waiting till the summer and missing out on a Witsel anymore.

Oh....and it is nice to see we have some people in charge who can actually SELL PLAYERS also. Not since Moggi have we had a group that can do that.

You can thank Arrivabene for that, he's the one pulling the strings right now.

I agree with another poster. if he refuses to go, make him play in Serie C.

Ihattaren loan to Ajax is now official according to the Ajax website. Loan period is 12 months with an option to buy (purchase price is rumored to be €2M). Good deal for Ajax if they can help him get over the personal issues related to his father's death last year. He will start out with Young Ajax but I won't be surprised if he doesn't quickly move up to the senor side in a few months.

Good to see Bentancur move on. A great player on his day but has been inconsistent the last couple of seasons. He has done well for us over the years and hope he fits in well at spurs. Also Kulu who has great potential but hasn’t really hit the heights. Ok he hasn’t had to long at Juve but I would have thought by now he would have progressed further than he has. Looking forward to our next game to see DV7 and Denis Zakaria

LOLO if Ramsey joins Burnley after turning down a half dozen other EPL teams.

I haven’t been this excited about a winter transfer in a long time. Im glad the team is making some real effort improving this team. Much needed pieces. RB is still a point of concern.

LB for me. We have 3 competent RB in Caudrado, Desciglio and Danilo. At LB we only have Sandro who I think is becoming more of a liability and Peligrini. Ok Danilo and Desciglio can play left if required but they are naturally gifted for the right side

Latest word is Ramsey to Rangers. Juve are pushing for it hard, last word of course lies with Ramsey though.

Even if he was leaving on a free in June, Zakaria for 5m euros + add-ons is a steal. This is the kind of signing that we used to make, before we started wasting time and money on the likes of Ramsey and Rabiot.

Credit to Arrivabene for making this winter window financially possible. Now we'll begin to Cherubini's true worth. It's one thing to spot the players (Paratici's strength), it's another thing to build a functional football team (Paratici's weakness).

But I haven't been this optimistic in over 3 years.

I always preferred Celtic to Rangers. That will change in a flash if Ramsey goes to Ibrox.

Did he get a better deal in Scotland?

Seems odd to turn down 5-6 Prem offers to play in the frozen tundra of Glasgow, esp. with his injury history.

    Still.....PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

IMHO and with no disrespect to Zakaria, I would prefer another player who's good on the ball in midfield. I think McKennie could play that defensive role just fine. We are getting played off the park by highly technical sides and I'm not sure that Zakaria flanking McKennie helps that situation. For me, someone like Jorginho would have been the ideal fit.

Except McKennie really isn't a defensive player, he plays so much better when he's free to move up the field.
