I do not care for the sport, except for Miss. Sharapova. She is better than Anna K.

Women's final just ended -- Sharapova upset Serena.

She's obviously beautiful, but she's also really, really good. I don't think this will be her only career Grand Slam.

I can't believe Anna Kournikova stopped coming to Wimbledon. What's one morning a year in her schedule?

Well done to Maria Sharapova, a fine victory. Not even the stuffy Wimbledon top brass seemed upset by her delaying the trophy by whipping out her mobile phone and trying to send a txt.

Well, tennis has a new savior!!!! Frankly speaking, I used to follow tennis. I cannot even name a single men player in the tournament.

Well, tennis doesn't really need a savior. And people across the globe can name numerous players on both the men's and women's side. It's arguably the second most popular spectator sport in the world and the top players arguably the most famous non soccer playing athletes in the world.

I wanted Williams to win but hey i was glad for the Russian to win afterwards.

Hopefully Roddick can beat Federer tomorrow, quite a task but hopefully he'll do it.

I really don't see that happening, Roger's game is so much more versatile than Roddick's. All Roddick can play is power tennis and that won't do against Federer...

Federer's game is way more fun to watch. I hope he wins.

    What a match!

Roddick was a worthy finalist and played his heart out, but in the end the better player prevailed. Federer's win is even more impressive considering the fact that he didn't have his best day today...

    Congrats Roger!

I'm thoroughly confused. I tuned in on Sunday morning (around 9 AM Pacific in the US) expecting to see the men's final. Instead NBC was showing the women's final, the result of which I already knew. Did they show the men's final live, and if yes at what time? There was no explanation if the men's final would follow in tape delay. (How can women's final be shown after men's??) If this was around 6 AM Pacific, I suppose I couldn't have taped it due to clash with Formula-1. If it was later, it clashed with the Euro 2004 final. Did I miss a quality event (both the quality of tennis played as well as quality of the telecast)? :(

I saw it live around 9 a.m. Eastern. If they started at 9 a.m. Pacific, that would be 5 p.m. in London, which would allow little margin for error with rain delays.

How can u say such a thing. Kournikova is easily better looking than sharapova! her face is better, and her body is better. sharapova is too much like a bean pole.
