This guy was a giant in the middle of the pitch and looks to be a great signing if this is what we can expect from the man. So far Harry has got a good latch on the signings. Anyway what do you guys think. I think his fee will be justified and then some.

If he can maintain his performance like how he did today, he would certainly be 1 of the contender for our signing of the year along side Modric.

i thought he showed plenty of signs of it v bolton, frankly, though no one really seemed to acknowledge it.

he gets stuck in, and means it. we've needed that for soooo long. i've not been more excited about a signing since bale's first match.

hmmm. maybe i should've left that last bit out.

I agree, Hauler. Palacios was fantastic today - hard work, biting challenges, great positioning - and he was the real engine of our midfield (Modric was the creativity).

I had a feeling that he and Jenas would ber a good partnership, and they showed some of that at Bolton. This frees up Modric to focus on the creative aspect of things, as both of them are players that can go box-to-box.

If he can keep up this kind of play, then I feel really, really good about what we can do for the remainder of the season. That's a big "if," but it's an incredibly important one.

Hands down, our best signing has been Charlie.

Wilson was an absolute beast today. It was fun seeing someone in the center of the midfield that actually knows what they're doing for a change.

Does this mean no more Zokora? YAY!!!

Can't wait till O'Hara gets back so we can drop Jenas

How do you guys feel about a Palacios/Huddlestone pairing with Lennon and Modric on the wings? I really like Huddlestone and think that Palacios could make up for his lack of speed.

Was wishing the whole game yesterday that Harry had started out with this.

yeah, that is a really interesting idea. the best run of form that the team has had this season was when huds was getting more time...

Personally, I don't think any of the CMs we have are good enough to partner Willy. 'Arry will buy a new one in the summer.

Don't think 'Arry sees him as a CM. I'm speaking more along the lines of Zokora, Huddlestone, Jenas.

Except Huddlestone has upside and is a player we should keep, the other two can leave though.

The only player I genuinely dislike at Spurs is Dizzy Zokora.

I thought Big Willy and Penas complemented each other perfectly against Arse.

This one is awesome (for those who missed the game against the scum):
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVjhRss1b-U"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVjhRss1b-U[/ame]

The best part is at 1:37 when he crouches down, lying in wait for a full 3 seconds, and then fecking pounces on the oncoming scum player.
