By the way Valencia did play in the 2018 cycle (barely) He was injured in the Copa America 2015 so sadly and never to be seen again.
FYI. Valencia did play in the 2015 Copa America. He and Roca manned the midfield against Brazil when we won 1-0 (Jeison goal) which was the best game we played from a mental perspective during the 14-18 cycle - straight up dog fight and we showed Brazil no respect from opening whistle - Roca was a beast that game for all the haters Unfortunately, Edwin went down with an early injury against Peru in that third group game and that was the last we ever saw of Valencia for the NT.
I agree. I know you and Crzd are also ones who like to bring this up. Others will fight tooth and nail to argue that he has no temper and he rarely gets cards but whatever.
Sanchez with all his experience recived more red cards than barrios......that opnly have been RED CARD ONE TIME IN HIS CAREER............... meanwhile sanchez is the national team player with more red cards in the last 6 years.......dont know how would that aspect would be a plus....that is so confussed there is a lot of myths and performances of sanchez...that he didnt like he "saved us " when geot a red card......or that he played great matches that we was absent. Barrios his first real shot was agisnt japan in world cup.......because the red cadr of sanchez..........he was in supervlevel all that year with boca.............not the same case of medina....that wasnt so well rated in south america
I don't think there's myths about Sanchez. I just see people noticing why Pekerman trusted him as a veteran within his system. And he had some good plays in the air ( I rarely saw him lose 50-50 balls on headers) and did little things well in some situations. But now we are beyond that and we have Queiroz who trusts Barrios and the DFM is his. Enough talk about the past.
Wtf are you guys mentioning Sanchez!! trying to give me a fking heart attack!!! tho Barrios he should have been red carded twice for his little head butts that get forgiven. That was insanely lucky. sanchez can’t pass, is old, a sub at his club and has been replaced. He is 4th choice at best but that low in the pecking order give the shot to a younger player!
He was a complete beast today. He completely controlled the midfield and the through ball he made that lead to the own goal was perfect, he also dribled out of trouble to get into space right before that too. Had a hell of a game and did so much work that allowed Zenit to keep the ball in the attacking third.
For pure CDM's he's playing at a level that surpasses any Colombian ever in that position. Very good on the ball, can keep possession and dribble out when needed and is very good at breaking up play and counter's, we're lucky to have him.

cartagena at any point is like a beautiful woman you realize is a psycho 20 minutes into meeting her but still want to give it a chance. That place is so hot and humid it was the worst. Santa Marta is where it’s at plus the locals don’t harass the fk out of you!
