Sounds like a cool guy! Anyone who plays Zelda or Final Fantasy is cool in my book.

Seriously...sounds a lot like my childhood...

Looking forward to watching him play.

If he played official matches for Colombia, even at the U-x level, he can't switch to the US under current FIFA rules.

Even if he was eligible I am not sure he would have enough time to prove himself as good enough before he got too old.

Well, he's only 25. How old was Conrad when he got his first cap?

Anyway, he'd better start his citizenship work PRONTO.

I think Grant Wahl would disagree with you, Superdave. ;)

    Funny. ;)

This is different from the Adu situation, tho. In Freddy's case, the argument is that the rule intended for players to be able to switch so long as they a) were already a citizen of the 2nd nation when they played U-x for the first nation, b) were under 21 years of age, and c) hadn't gotten a senior cap in an official tournament or qualifying.

Obviously, only the last one applies to this guy.

Don't want him. He's Colombian and it would make me a hypocrite with the whole Rossi thing if I wanted him. So no thanks.
