Tomorrow there will be a press conference to announce Portland as the 18th city into MLS. Will we, outside of Portland, be allowed to watch it live and streamed, like Vancouver's yesterday?

I think FSN will be broadcasting it. Congrats PDX, can't wait to make some road trips.

I sure hope so. Heck, I'd keep the entire identity package. The Toyota sponsor is more presitgious than most of the clubs in the league (Amway? really?), and the three solid kits (green, white and rose red) are each beautiful.

If the Timbers kept their identity the same, they'd automatically be one of the best-looking clubs in MLS.

I wonder how the league-wide deals are structured in the MLS. I believe that the Volkswagen and Adidas deals will prevent the MLS version of the Timbers from having Toyota and Nike as sponsors, but I am not certain.

Can you link it? For some reason I can't get it off the MLSnet page.

Perfect. Now we'll see if they keep the logo and uniforms (to the extent Adidas' templates will let them).
