how can you not care about it??? it's better then our champions league...if we win there it would be way better then a stupid champions league title
Can anyone tell me when and where the MEN'S 2009 CONCACAF GOLD CUP is going to be held? I need such information as quickly and accurate as possible as I intend to follow some matches. I live in Europe and therefore the sooner I know the better, so that I will have enough time to book flights, hotels and match tickets. Thanks.
CONCACAF has not posted anything official yet. However FIFA Match Calendar has designated July 3-26 2009 for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Last Gold Cup was 19 days. Where it will be held is only speculation now. A good guess is that it will be held in the USA again because for the high fan turn out. IT was offered to Canada to host before they built BMO Field but Canada federation has been quiet on this topic since....that was a few years ago. They announced 2007 Gold Cup on Oct 31st so they could market the regional tournament. So I believe it will be announced this month for same reasons. Cheers
well if so what about the ten games each NT has to play for the HEXA to south africa? do we really have time. 11 February 2009 28 March 2009 1 April 2009 6 June 2009 10 June 2009 19 August 2009 5 September 2009 9 September 2009 10 October 2009 14 October 2009 whens the tournament?????????
I think that looking at Gold Cup v WCQ schedules from the past, it's safe to assume that the tournament will still be played and squeezed into a month when there are no qualifiers (possibly April-June or most likely June-August). Have a look at the 2005 schedule for CONCACAF and you'll see what i mean.
July 3rd to July 26th according to FIFA. That could really screw some MLS teams, combined with the final round of WQ Qualifiers.
i dont like that, Specially cause the winner doesnt even get to go to the confed cup, because. The have to wait for next years. Remember they have to fit it in with the Confed cup too because USA is going.
Yeah, it's June 14th to June 29th. And there are 9 WC qualifier match days during the MLS season next year, including 4 Saturdays. I post about this recently in a TFC thread.
