Will McBride Start vs. Sunderland -- Week II Kevin Campbell looks like he'll be ready for Sunderland: http://www.evertonfc.com/match/fixtures/reports/report.asp?id=5688
This will be a very interesting weekend.. I can't even guess if Brian will start. If I had to bet my life, I would bet not.. He will at least get on late if he doesn't, I suspect.
Now I don't claim to have any insight, but the EPL season is a long one, if I'm the coach; I've got a regular coming off injury I've got a rested on-loan player who showed his ability in his first game I'm playing a sucky team - at home So I start off with McBride up front, let Campbell rest another week, unless he's needed off the bench, and make sure my best team is healthy for the most difficult games.

Not sure if this article was posted after the last game: http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/...fm?objectid=12541106&method=full&siteid=50061
Yeah, can you believe this crap? This guy breaks into HIS home and then he roughs him up a bit before the cops come, and now he has to go in for questioning. And here I was thinking this kind of bull@*!# only happened in America. Sad.
you know what I love about these articles that quote McBride the most, outside of him acknowledging that Everton are one of the top clubs in the world, (who could deny that! ) is that he says bringing home an MLS championship is still his ultimate goal-granted at club level- I just find that it gives a lot of credibility to the league that je would say that...It shows the players take their league seriously and that their championship means something to them... but maybe that's just me...
Well.. Considering we have more gun deaths in the US in one day than they have in England and several other countries combined in an entire year, I don't think we have any place telling them what they should do about guns. I hope Bryan makes it a tough decision come April 5th.. Meaning he does so well the Evertonians are pleading for him to stay..
I'll place a guess on McBride getting another run-out. Two straight should make him more comfortable and put him in a better position to contribute as a late substitute in future games. JMHO
Similarly, I like the fact that Brian basically states in the article that his time at Everton is simply a warmup for the MLS season...
I have to say that I am more geeked about the fact that MLS wrote off at least half and possibly 3/4 of one of its top salary earners (presumably making the max salary) entire salary. Nice Job, MLS.
Sunderlands defense isn't that bad, it's their offense that is lousy. I figure 1-0 to Everton. Hopefully McBride!
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/article.asp?id=5704 At the other end of the field there are selection problems as Brian McBride, the striker brought in to help with the injury situation, has fallen victim himself. The American international is suffering from tight hamstrings and is doubtful, while Wayne Rooney is serving the second game of a four-match suspension.
Geez, McHead only lasting one game (before injury?)...let's hope not...even I thought he'd last 2-3 games.. Friendly bet? If JMM signs with MLS/Revs, I'll bet his goals/assists per game total will top Mcheads this year...(only friendly, no cash/pizza on the line gg)
