Will Brasil kinda, you know, maybe "pooch" the game v. RSA so they can go home (not play US again - boring...) and let the host nation have some fun?

Well maybe, if I were Brazil I'd rather play Spain than USA even if US beat Spain you could get a chance at a more consistent team.

On the other hand players are always hungry to get international goals on their record and I ultimately see that as motivating them to give it their all against South Africa.

Erm... I think players are a lot more motivated by winning competitions than adding goals to their resume.

The team is already getting enough pressure from the Brazilian media even when winning, if they lose to South Africa tomorrow i would fear for their safety.

Yeah, kinda maybe a dumb poll - coulda worded it better, but really looking to speak to Brazil's motivation given that they will be playing the US rather than Spain if they beat RSA. Also, I am sure RSA will be greatly motivated too after watching USA!

Brazil has to play 2 games no matter what, and being Brazil, of course they are going to want to win both.

Why Brazil would want to play for third place instead of the championship is beyond comprehension. There's no point it would be ridiculous.

They won the first game 3-0. I don't think they'd mind playing us again...

Well, I wanted to see Brasil, the number one football country in the world, play the European champs, but it was not to be, so we get to watch the king's of football crush the USA again, I guess.

Though I'll be pleasantly surprised if the USA manages to win the friendly cup. This friendly cup has been very exciting!

Just when I think it was impossible to see anything stupider coming out of a spazzo, this thread is created.

Well for quite awhile it looked like RSA had a chance to make it happen... that would have been something to see!
