This game has been our undoing in recent years; we have always seemed to draw there while our competitors always get 3 points. Time to change that but much will depend on Tuesday's verdict. So team predictions to wait until then.

Carroll will probably get the start for this one, no?

Prpbably but unless he improves his movement and anticipation he'll once again prodice little. This team is built around pass and move football and he doesn't he half stand around waiting for things to happen.

I'd even start him. If it's a throw-the-book-at-him suspension, I bet the club will appeal. The game to rest people is against Blackburn, not this one.

He looked absolutely stuffed on Sunday. Let's hope that the first time Kenny gives him a rest isn't after rupturing an ACL

Please don't start Kuyt this game. Just because Wigan aren't good doesn't mean he'll magically produce quality.

Start Bellamy and Maxi so we have a good shot at scoring. If we happen to score a goal early and maintain the lead into the second half, take off Bellamy/Suarez or whoever needs a rest then bring on "those players who have neither skill nor confidence."

Always a tough place for us to get points, even with their FCD attendance and relegation fighting crap on the field. Go for the jugular, Kenny!

bellamy and kuyt switch places, and I'm in.

One thing that has been little mentioned is how well the pairing of aggs and skirt is working for us. 4 years ago, we said it was our cb pairing of the future - looks like the future has finally arrived. They have been terrific, providing a base on which the rest of the team can stand.

Amen, Skagger is sure as hell better than whatever duct tape Yanited, Arsenal, and the Russians try throwing out a CB week in and week out.

Well, Agger has managed to stay healthy for a good stretch and Skrtel looks like he's finally recovered, more psychologically than physically, from that cracked jaw from a few years ago. With the way they're playing as a pairing, Carra will need to get used to the bench, and hopefully he can see just how good those two are together. Throw in a much improved Glen Johnson and the best LB in the Prem and that's a very stout back line. Pepe's not so bad himself, either. ;)

How bout Danny Swagger on the scoresheet in a 3-0 win?

Right. I can not begin to say how angry I am at this outrageous decision that must have been dictated by Sir Rednose. Let's see kicking another player deliberately, the FA will fight your 3 match ban so you can play for Engerland. But use a word in your language that maybe doesn't have the same meaning in English you are banned for 8 games, but only if you play for Liverpool. ******** you FA
