what are the overall views of transfers so far? What do you think of Wigan's potential?

I have liked watching Roberto Martinez on ESPN during the World Cup

There has only been Alcaraz (who i've seen twice during the World Cup) and Boselli (who i've never seen)

Some say Boselli will be a fantastic signing. The same people probably said the same when Veron came to England. So really until both have played 10-15 games i'm reserving judgement.

Different circumstances. Veron, aside from being the type of player who wouldn't excell in a league like the EPL, was never really given complete control of the midfield which was necessary for a player like him.

Ive seen Boselli for a long time and imo he was one of the best if not the best striker playing in South America. He's strong up front and excellent in the air. I think he'll do well in England.

but there is a different concern, which is - how will he adapt to life in Europe? at least people knew Veron could handle being far away from home, having played so well in the Serie A.

Ha ha i'm not sure about that. Hopefully we can win the bottom half of the league.

Although as usual the "experts" and fans of other clubs have us finishing 18th or 19th - will they ever learn ?

I think Martinez is going to get fired real soon. Conceded 10 goals in the season, already after two matches.

    this is unbelievable.

Also I think Maynor wasnt even injured but embrassed to continue in the game so he saw that as a ticket out on that foul that drogba and taylor did.
