i really think it is stupid how negative is about bradley, everything. Honestly, we are not that bad. okay so we didn't have much possesion much in the 2nd half. We have beat Mexico that last 10 TIMES. seriously, get over yourself. during bradley's tenure he has mainly been experimenting. once he gets the full a plus team in, i think we will be pretty damn good. we have some really good friendlies coming up, just watch. besides the don't tread on me swagger everything was going great, everybody was positive and pumped for this new year of us football. then now everybody is all pissy about us TIEING a pretty decent mexico squad in front of 60,000 mexican fans. seriously.
Yea we played fine overall and I am content, but I really just don't feel Bradley is capable of making us elite, he knows the american player well and makes some good callups and choices, but also some very bad ones and seems very poor tactically. We will do fine in CONCACAF as we always do and maybe advance out of our group in the World Cup, nothing more as long as he is behind the bench in my opinion.
When this Mexico squad starts knocking on the door of being considered an elite team over the next few years (Sanchez may hold them back a bit) people around here are going to start looking real dumb. They have a lot of big time proven talent already and are adding more. They are good. We are gtting better. BB is limited. We will have very good core of players, some playing already, from 2010-14 that will probably produce our best playing/competetive team ever. We are very young right now. Our youth training and programs are gtting better. If not for our coaching defeiencies across the board in this country we would be further along, but it ain't that bad either. Fear, fatalism and negativity sell while screaming the loudest. That's all.
Considering we tied with Corrales and Moor starting, I was happy with the result, and am positive about Bradley. There is still a lot of time to improve and I think we will.
You somehow make it sound like advancing out of our group in the World Cup is a failure. I don't think there's a coach in the world who could give us a decent shot at winning the World Cup this cycle. If you think it's a failure if we advance out of the group stages of the World Cup, your expectations are a bit out of whack.
Now, if you wanna talk about hiring a proven international coach for the 2014 cycle, when all of these players will be in their primes, that's something that might make some sense. But for now, a developmental coach like Bradley is just fine, and is a massive step up from Bruce Arena, I might add.
this has been an on going pattern since his first match... we have not been that good with him sans the 2nd half of the Gold Cup final last year
We've been better than we ever were in the 2006 cycle, when we all thought we were so great. I don't understand what level you people expect us to play at. I really don't. I can tell you it's not a level we're gonna reach anytime soon. Frankly, I'm not sure it's a level the top five teams in the world reach.
