Why no A-league players in Soceroos squad?

    Bad thing is Mark Milligan ain't good, and he's representing us. Hopefully he gets no play time.

    Very true, 3 A league players in the Australian squad and one playing for Trin and Tobago.

    Not bad for the inugral season of the A League.

    But doesnt it also talk about the quality of players Australia has? There is no way our league is going to challenge the wages and opportunity that the players get say in the EPL, all players that are good enough to play in those leagues will without doubt leave the A League and try themselves in Europe. I fully expect Melbournes Kristian Sarkies to make his way their in the next couple of years.

    The fact that South Africa has most of their players playing in the national and local leagues says more about their quality of Football than anything else. I mean Spurs signed the at the time South African captain (Mabizela) while on a tour there 3 seasons a go, then released him a season later.
