Why Is The Left Silent on the Demonstrations in Iran?

    Comletely exposing themselves for what they're really all about, the American left and their media outlets are ignoring the courageous students and people in Iran who have taken to the streets, at great personal risk, to fight against oppression.

    Now I thought the left was all about fighting for freedom. Freedom of thought, of speech. Equality for women. Freedom from Religious intolerance.

    Isn't this their claim to moral superiority?

    But they have a problem: a savagely oppressed people are rising up to throw off their theocratic rulers, but it's LARGELY BECAUSE OF THE BUSH FOREIGN POLICY.

    So they sit on their hands.

    If there was ever an example of what the left is REALLY about, it's this. They don't care a damn about slavery in the Sudan, massacres in the Congo or Freedom fighters in Iran.

    They just hate George Bush.

    And then they wonder why they can't win elections.
