Why do you liberals worship the very ground that Clinton walks on? I have heard he is the greatest president ever. I beg to differ. Clinton's record on terrorism is nothing short of condemning. Clinton's response to the following can best be described as indifference:

    1.) WTC bombing number 1

    2.) The Khobar Towers bombing

3.) The downing of TWA 800

4.) The bombing of American embassies in Africa

5.) The bombing of the USS Cole

He also allowed Jimmy Carter to give the North Korean's nuclear reactors. Reactors that supplied the very nuclear weapons that are being used to blackmail this nation.

He also backed down to Saddam Hussein when inspectors were effectively kicked out in 1998.

This man is no saint. In fact he emboldened muslim extremist terrorists through his inaction. He allowed NK to go nuclear, and he is THE root of the current Iraq crisis. By letting Saddam walk away from the table, he forced someone else to deal with him.
He chose to overlook terrorism, NK, and Iraq. Ahhh, "peace" was secured...for Clinton administration America.

    OH
Are you saying that when you see pictures of Clinton, you can't see that little golden halo around his head?

...we dont think clinton's a saint. its just that reactionaries like you think he's the anti-christ, and our outlook appears saintly by comparison.

oh...and the pan-am 103 bombing took place in 1988...and we have reagan to thank for it.

Look, i don't want to sidetrack this thread. But i don't believe in the weak center fuel tank theory. Im almost sure it was terroism. Now back to why Clinton ignored

Why is Dubya the worst president ever?

Clinton was a weak president. Clinton was a centrist. He ordered regular bombings in Iraq. Most of the corporate corruption happened under his watch. He trashed the environment. He had no foreign policy to think of. I still regret he wasn't removed from office.

Now to start working on getting rid of Dubya. Dubya is the worst president ever. He is a pathological liar. Why do conservatives believe every piece of crap that comes out of that administration?

maybe you should stop directly quoting the Progressive Conservative website mannyfreshstunna, and form some opinions of your own...

Clinton came into office with huge deficits and an economy in shambles. Today, we have huge deficits and an economy in shambles. Clinton did NOTHING!

"Effectively" kicked out. That's actually encouraging to me. It says that after upwards of six months of constant correction, people will add a misleading modifier to make it barely short of a proveable lie.

I wonder if the righties even know when they're lying anymore? I mean, why type out something like "Clinton ignored Al-Qaeda"? Boy, it's a good thing Bush came along, then, otherwise 9/11 might have been WORSE, huh? Morons.

They hate our civil liberties, they hate our alliances, and they hate Bill Clinton, the fourth or fifth finest President this great nation has ever had. Why do conservatives hate America so much? Why do they hate our freedoms?

It's almost like adding the modifier "what we now know as the [Internet]" to the famous quote "I took the initiative in creating the Internet".

Except "effectively kicked out" is true.

What? I don't quote anyone. Did i mention the OK city bombings? Just because i listed all of Clinton's transgressions doesn't mean i'm quoting anyone.

Why is this ok? Allowed Jimmy Carter to give the North Korean's nuclear reactors. Reactors that supplied the very nuclear weapons that are being used to blackmail this nation.

We shouldn't be asking why Clinton is a saint. We should be asking why a sockpuppet continues to troll the politics board.

This thread started with some guy spewing a useful myth. Clinton was a centrist, nothing more. The idea of bringing up Clinton is to attempt to distract from some real and immediate problems.

Dubya is dismantling the economy, the environment and the constitution (too many examples to site, and I'm sure everyone is aware of them.) He is a pathological liar. He is leading us into an unwinnable and immoral war.

The "shock and awe" strategy and the declared willingness to use a pre-emptive nuclear strike will kill not thousands, but over a million people in Iraq. One of them might be Saddam. Dubya's intent with this strategy is more to "shock and awe" the rest of the world. After this war, he will ask, "who is next to defy the USA?"

There is no plan for "liberating" the people of Iraq. Just ask the people of Afghanistan. They got bombed back to the stone age, and will stay there.

Amen bro. Death to sockpuppets! Manny, don't you know that pets.com is all gone?

Why do conservatives have to keep changing the subject to an ex-President? You guys need to get busy defending your guy, the current president who is a blow hoovering, monosyllable drawling shill for big corporate interests who is going to get us into the worst US diplomatic disaster since... fvck it, ever!

next time i find someone i don't agree with i'm going to make sure to drag up this bullsh!t excuse everytime they post since it's so "easy".

give me a ************ing break with this sockpuppet ************ mike. the guy who i happenens to have a dissenting opinion from you and you just go to this one everytime he makes you cranky. manny(matt) has already explained that he went to highschool with me and how he got here (in the WWII thread in which YOU SUGGESTED that you took credit to people who explained how they got here.)

since when is it a crime to invite friends who you already have political dialouge with to continue it on a message board you converse on. would it heal your wounds if he dumped the cash on a premium membership? probably not.

and it's funny you talk about sockpuppets from a liberal side because regardless of the fact that you're different people there's always 4-5 of you cleaning each others ********************* after every post. in my book that's far more annoying than a sockpuppet ever would be.
