well first year we had no rivals, it was a fun year we should have won the final, but alas it wasn't to be, but we did get ourselves a nice rival for the next 3 years. this of course being dc united, culminating in their disgraceful performance in mlscup99. since then of course we've owned those little bitches (just like everyone in the league) sometime in 1998, we once again should have won it all with the most spectacular team mls has ever seen, but we ran in to some upstarts in chicago, who also proceded to be a right pain in the ass for a couple of years, culminating in our elimination from the open cup sem-final in 2000. since then of course we've owned those bitches too. new york kansas colorado miami(rip) tampa(rip) dallas new england columbus pfftt whatever. but san jose. they sorta snuck up last year. beating us in the home opener and then again in the final and beating us once this year too. now i fully expect them to go back to being losers like their fans within the next two seasons. in the meantime we have another rival for a while, and let's be honest footballs more fun with a rival (too bad none of ours last for more than a couple of seasons... sigh i guess thats the problem with consistently being the best team in the league).
