When the great unwashed mass of lefty moonbat-hood on this board think about conservative commentators, they think Coulter or Limbaugh. Of course, they never really consider thoughtful ones like Frum, Hanson, or, one of my favorites, Bill Kristol. Well, Bill has added to his lustrous reputation by THIS prediction on the retirment of Sandra Day O'Connor. http://weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/005/758akmdq.asp And then there's part II of the prediction -- Gonzales. Stay tuned on that one.
Mr. Kristol did no "predicting" at all, but I understand he has an intern over at the Supreme Court as a clerk that gave him the lead on O'Connor! As far as Gonzales... I doubt it... Why would GWB move Gonzales to SC when he is more valuable to GWB as Attorney General? No...Kristol erred when he predicted Gonzales to Supreme Court...it will be Ted Olsen, who will satisfy the strict Constitution crowd in both parties!
Um, Karl, if it's the person involved...people were speculating last year that SDOC might resign so that Bush would appoint her successor, on the chance that Kerry would win the election. If it's the timing...the USSC just ended a session, which is when justices usually resign. The soft bigotry of low expectations strikes again. Now, if you want a prediction showing how smart someone is...use the search function here to find those of us who guess, correctly, Saddam was no threat to us.
