Right. Things have obviously changed. The Revs where at the bottom of the conference for a reason. Now, they're in the conference final for a reason as well. And do you think maybe his comments had something to do with the fact that his first place team had just lost to the last placed team? It was probably said more in anger or frustration than anything else.

I agree, when your young and immature you tend to blame others instead of taking responsibility for your own pathetic play.

    Misplaced motivation?

    So true.

Eddie Johnson was often interpreted as young and brash, which was usually translated into arrogance.

I have no idea if Beasley has a history in this area, but it's also possible he was trying to cause a stir and create a rivalry...

    ... well, maybe not.

But I hope noone is expecting DmB to eat his words, because we all know, MLS doesn't qualify for the cliche' "Justice will prevail".

If anything, the referee may have more of an impact on the game!

  4. Our version of this thread is a lot funnier. You people should lighten up.

Hate Chicago? No, never! Such a great city & area.

Mustrard's Last Stand (Evanston) for Vienna Pure Beef Hot Dogs, Hecky's BBQ ( Evanston), Walker Brothers Original Pancake House ( Wilmette), Old Style Beer & the Chicago Sting. All fond memories.

Could I ever hate Chicago? No!

    Pity Chicago?

Well.....that's one crappy looking toilet bowl atop the columns of Soldier's Field. Is that a UFO or did the Windy City move the State of Illionois building closer to the lakefront?

I'd REALLY be impressed if he ran out on the field and stopped a Razov PK.

MrSangster, I'm sure your posts are hilarious. I only wish your pictures would work, so the rest of us could know why they are:)

Technially Dallas brought Dema into the league. We just kept him around for awhile.
