Why does MLS put matches against US Qualifiers?

It's ridiculous that MLS will make fans choose between watching an MLS match and a US Qualifier. Not only does is show a lack of respect for the national team, fans, and the sport; but there simplly aren't enough fans to "go around"

There are at least two Columbus Crew matches scheduled in the next two months against these qualifiers. On Wednesday, August 18 Columbus is at home at 730pm Eastern while the US is in Kingston at 700pm. And again on Wednesday, September 8, Columbus is at SJ at 1030pm, while the US kicks off in Panama at 9pm.

I would have to agree with you completely, this is trash. I would like to watch both games and be able to focus on them, now I am going to have to watch them both at the same time, damnit!

It's definately not a good idea to put USMNT matches on same day as any MLS games, unless of course it's a double header with the USNT.

Yea, and I'm going to trash the MLS about it since this is an INTERNATIONAL MATCH DATE. USMNT was given this date. Show me another league that will play that evening.
