    I believe the word is

    Jealousy.

Because the team has Bayer backing them and buying them better players than their teams.

Some Yanks don't like BL.04 because of how they treated Reyna, Hejduk, Donovan, Digiamarino, and Cunningham, but I say they opened the door for American players.

Donovan is and was a child and should have stayed in Leverkusen.

Bayern Munich is the club of the devil. They make Man United look like choir boys. FC Hollywood...bayern munich giant scum.

I loath Manure aka Merchandise Utd.

So your saying Bayer and Bayern, are both crap? Damn, I have to pick some bottom feeder that I will probably never see play, nor will they ever even have a chance to win a cup of warm piss....ARGH!!

You should never pick a team to like just because they win.......

    oops!

    Wrong take

Bayern -scum, worthy of the depths of hell

Bayer Leverkusen: great team to support, love Yanks, open door to anyone. Small town, team plays beautiful soccer, fun to watch, fans get a bad rap, but are very passionate.

    Cool uniforms as well.

    Wow...panicfc

Thanks for the history lesson. Funny how BM stadium is never full when they are showing their matches on FSW.

I still like their kits and crests. Bayer has sweet crests and kits too.

Glad I could help. You will never see an empty seat at the BayArena, plus the Gm, Reiner Calmund is a party animal :D

Yea, he´s the big banging party hippo!!!!!

Bayer sucks because they are supported by the Bayer AG, so they are called the "retortenclub".(same as vfl wolfsburg)

They came up during the 80´s, cause of the money they received from bayer AG, despite lacking the number of fans and the tradition the fc koeln has!

Dortmund, Bremen, Stuttgart, Schalke, Hamburg, Wolfsburg, Hertha Berlin all are competive teams.

there was actually a big article on this question i think on soccernet talking about how Bayer doesn't have the traditional support of most clubs because of how it was formed. i'll see if i can't look it up but it was a very interesting article.

    Re: Re: Re: Re: Wow...panicfc

a retortenclub is a club, that lacks tradition and came up because someone wants them to do. in this case it was the bayer AG ( yes it is the medicine company ). Thats the only reason they are abled to play soccer on that big level, despite having such a small fan comunity.
The fc koeln fan comunity is ten times bigger then the bayer comunity, but they don´t have the financial background bayer has (like many other traditional soccerclubs in germany like duesseldorf, braunschweig....)

I would rather support a club with tons of loyal fans packing the stadium every week than some rich tools trying to buy a title. Wish the Bundesliga official website had version in English...oh well...guess I will just have to teach myself German...all for the love of the game!

And now Leverkusen has stolen a generation of supporters from Koln. Every student at my cousin's high school supports Leverkusen, while their teachers and parents support Koln.

I'm guessing these are German students, right. Because if American teenagers like Bayer I would be shocked! LOL.

Well, look at every tom, dick, and Ian in England jumping on the Man Utd bandwagon and saying piss off to the local club. Success will always draw fans and no one wants to support a crap side.

Your statement proves that you are NOT WORTH to support SV Hamburg. Their crest is a unique and holy piece of excellence !
