Ok enough of the whining and childish posts. Let's get some analysis on why Korea lost so badly. I haven't seen the match and have no idea how this could've happened. Formation, strategy, player selection, fitness, what went wrong?

It was a one-man show. Huh Jungmoo not only started out with a stupid formation with questionable selection of players, but he got outcoached the entire match and made all the wrong changes.

Hence, the biggest problem is JJJ.

    Everything went wrong man, EVERYTHING.
We couldn't play simple football, we were outclassed by china's strategy.

Everything we would do (centers, passes, shoots) was intercepted by chinese players or was just too pity.

Even we couldn't manage to bring pace on the sides, it was silenced by chinese defenders 90% of the time.

    I would say :

-Too much confidence after the HK win
    -Shitty management from Huh
    -Lack of fitness (shitty play)
-Bad luck (china being successful in everything they try)

Cause we are not good w/o our starters.

    We have terrible depth.

    Out Defense is still horrendous.

    Bring on Mota!

Huh's Faults: Formation & Player Selection.

Player's Faults: Lack of leadership, lack of discipline, low aggression, over reliance on referee for calls...

Huh did not use any wingers the entire match. All our wins previously depended on our wingers. (Park Ji-Sung & Lee Chung-Yong combo) Also, a strong center midfielder who could initiate our attack. (Ki Sung-Yong) Also, Park Joo-Young was always staple for matches against bigger teams.

4-4-2 will does NOT work w/o Park Joo-Young playing. Huh is delusional if he thinks we have the strike partnership to actually try this formation. Park's versatility as a forward allows him to adapt his flair & creativity to help his striker partner. No one on todays roster has this.

Fatman gotta go. You can argue all you want about all he's done, but he hasn't seriously in the past couple of months. Having an overweight, old, slow, keeper does not help & his yelling does nothing. Against a team that likes to abrupt shots like China, Kim Young-Gwang should have started. He has better reflexes than Fatman. Mood wise, a fat dude at goal doesn't help.

Huh should have used 3-4-2-1. We needed to win the midfield battle which we lost due to lack of pace, & strength.

Also, lame Direct passes killed us at the end. Second goal was coz Kwak Tae-Hwi didn't clear well. We lacked leadership.

Also, we need Lee Chun-Soo's fiery passion again.

Fck pace when they don't use it (Kwak Tae-Hwi, Lee Jung-Soo).
Time to call up the Enforcer. Kim Jin-Kyoo! Our defenders wussed out.

Mota wouldn't have done anything against China except ride the bench coz Huh decided to go wingless

I think Korean players need better conditioning, a lot of them were rail thin compared to the Chinese team even though they are older. They will get manhandled by the Greeks and Argentinians and Nigerians...okay maybe not Nigerians but they will definitely be outpaced.

Yeah, we look weak mentally and physically.

They all need to gain about 10 pounds, except for Lee Woon Jae. That guy needs to lose 30 pounds by taking out kalbi from his diet.

Words on the web are going around that our match against Japan will be the 'derby of dismissal' (경질더비). Whoever lose will be true winners or so they hope.

They're saying whoever loses between the two could lead to sacking of their beloved managers... so that they can bring someone better, or at least hope someone better.

    A dilemma here.

Lose now, sack gaffer, bring in new "better" gaffer & win the real derby against Japan a couple months later w/ all our stars?

    or

No more embarrassment. Win at all costs. Huh keeps his job?

KFA will not fire Huh Jungmoo. There isn't any pressure from the media to fire him, and no guarantees are there that the replacement will do a better job (lead us to the round of 16). It's a gamble KFA does not need to take.

I think one miracle we can realistically hope for is for Hiddink to say something like "I can do better with Korea". The entire nation would be all over KFA to get him.

Do you not understand English? If we were to set our objective to getting Huh Jungmoo fired, there needs to be an increased pressure from the media or the people to fire him. No footballing individual can bring that kind of pressure other than Hiddink. Like it or not, that is what he is in Korea.

Anyone have details surrounding Huh's dismissal after Asian Cup 2000? Maybe you could draw a comparison there to rate Huh's chances of keeping or losing his job

This is Huh Fcukin' radish fault, simply because he was playing with 4 natural central midfielders with Lee Jung-soo as a Left back and testing the back four with Kwak's return. The players are naturally going to be confused and psychologically down the moment they step on the pitch because they're playing with no wingers. This is a credibility issue here folks, the players aren't dumb.. the moment they stepped onto the pitch they knew it was going to be a long match. The fcukin problem is, nobody is voicing this out unlike the Japanese team with Tulio and all. This is just going to hurt the team more and more and it's gonna implode and all we as fans get will be disastrous results. How can you expect the team to perform with such low morale and playing in a position you know you can't. Why does a player like Kim Du-hyeon need to take the fcukin blame just because of this radish?

That's that, there's nothing else to the loss. After this loss I'm not sure if Huh's credibility as a manager will be maintained as before. I'm afraid for the sake of the NT and its best players they need to get rid of Huh because this is a credibility issue.
