Why can't the season last into winter?

    Isn't that the European playing soccer in snow?

    In much of the USA they could play into the winter, but it would be difficult in Chicago and Colorado, maybe KC and Columbus as well.

    Heck...they play in Trondheim...don't they?

    And they play at Green Bay...

    The biggest problem would be the interference with the other football. I think that's why it seems at most levels, soccer is a summer sport.
