One time I was at USMNT game and nobody in the parking lot or in the stadium gave me the bird or wanted to start a fight with me. I think somebody gave me a free beer, too. So yes, USMNT fans are the nicest people in the country. Why? Just because.
whenever I put on my US jersey, I feel compelled to hand out little cartons of orange juice around campus. The shirt just brings out the niceness.
After standing for the full 90 I'm just too tired to give anyone any crap... Anyway, we always win, so what's to be unfriendly about?
1) Chicago fans don't smell when wearing the US shirt. 2) Bruce Arena insists on proper comportment at all times 3) All roadmaps in Spanish have "Columbus, OH" located just east of Nome. 4) When we throw bags of urine, we always use genuine Glad bags, never the cheap store brands. 5) Hotel Fire Alarms going off at 3 AM are almost always preceded by airhorns letting everyone know there's not really a fire. 6) American fans always drink responsibly - the 24 beer limit is strictly observed. 7) We enjoy saying "Bocanegra" 8) Our players always wash their hands after using the restroom. 9) "Luis Hernandez is a f@g" is actually the state motto of Montana 10) The Big Ass Flag
This needs to be made into a T-shirt now. Abso-********in-lutely HYSTERICAL. Although I take very good care to wash my FIRE shirt on a regular basis so i'm not so sure about number one. Maybe its a psychosomatic response on your part... would you describe the oder as smelling something like defeat? Just kidding! I could never say anything mean-spirited to another US Nats team fan. One time I pulled up to a toll booth and the nice person in front of me had actually paid my toll for me and i noticed as they sped off that they had a US Soccer bumper sticker!
I was graciously allowed to assist several folks from Philly in draining their keg of Yuengling at a tailgate in DC. Where else would that have happened! BTW, where do I sign up for that T-shirt. Could a great money maker next weekend in Columbus. Walt
