The Women's World Cup final in 1999 when Briana Scurry stepped off the line to save a Chinese penalty kick. Does it really matter all that much? We would have won anyone... really we would have. Becks "ruining" his career in 1998, but then becoming England's own pretty boy. He even got himself a Spice Girl out of the ordeal. Chelsea. Period. Shouldn't they be relegated by now? The U.S. men's national team and how much they suck. WE KNOW!!! And it doesn't bother us THAT MUCH! David Blaine backing out of the London stunt. What does this have to do with soccer anyway? Adu vs. the Mexicans, Adu vs. the Chinese, Adu vs. the French, Adu vs. the Spanish, and every other post people have made about Adu vs. the world. Brandi Chastain taking off her shirt after scoring the game-winning World Cup goal. She had a bra on... And finally Kristine Lilly being the most-capped international player in the world, male or female. Oh wait, that does deserve to be talked about and not enough people do. Quite a little feat, I must say. For a girl I mean.
Wrong Forum Sweethart, wrong forum. Mods, place this in WR so we can f... well she is a lady so I won´t be rude. WR is where this ought to be, this topic doesnt fit here.
I didn't care so much about Scurry's move, goalie have to take what they can. It was the dive to get the PK that pizzed me off...and I was rootin' for the US. But having said my piece, I have to agree with robincd. Take it somewhere else...!

you know, there are some sexist people out there who say women are a bit dim and don't get jokes. You're not blonde by any chance are you?
Re: Re: Re: Why are people still talking about... I was there...once...A day that has been seared into my mind. I have been struggling ever since.
Re: Re: Why are people still talking about... Comparing Adu to one person is hardly the same as comparing him to an entire country's under 17 national team. You can't exactly go 1 on 11 now can you?
Re: Re: Why are people still talking about... I got the joke. It was just retarded. Not funny. Isn't that required for it to be considered a joke??
Re: Re: Re: Why are people still talking about... Your complaint was that it had nothing to do with soccer. So are you really saying you read a joke which featured a punchline about Emile Heskey doing nothing in a box for 4 years, and couldn't see a soccer connection? In the meantime, was I right about the blonde bit, natural or otherwise?
This girl sounds like she's got a thinking problem, like most people from Tennessee do. Maybe they should go to concentration camp.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Why are people still talking about... Actually, the post I read had nothing to do with Emile Heskey. It just said that David Blaine pulled out. I've read the other posts (all about 92 of them) since and now I see the "joke".
Yes, in Tennessee, we are bred to be brainless and southern. You hit the nail on the head! D you want a cookie for your efforts? Although, I have to say, you aren't (no matter how much you wanted to be) the first person to make fun of a Tennessean.
first time i heard about this. i dont think getting posh was much of an accomplishment for beckham after they spend $150 million and sign kenyon from Man U? they should be relegated? u mean adu vs koreans. it gets bit annoying to dump korean japanese and chiese people together who's brandi? who's kristine?
