79' Eddie with yet another close shot. This one needing a good save by Fabs to turn it around the post.

Looked like he clipped his ankle but was coming off anyway.

This is the time when Arteta would bring Holding on and go to a back 3 to close this out...

This is where a clinical striker dramatically improves us. Those situations guys like Auba when he wasn't shit would have curled it in. Nketiah just didn't have enough curl on 2 of his chances.

Now Saka is down with a tight hammie?? And Mike Dean says sorry no trainer for you bro. So he's back up and "running it off"

Agreed. But at least he's taking good shots, forcing good saves, etc. When was the last time we could say that about Laca??

87' and we're dropping like flies. Saka limps off, and Mike Dean seems to apologize for not taking his injury more seriously before.

It's that time of the season sadly. Too many minutes in people's legs.

True. But Nketiah is better closer to box. He's been forced to shoot from far by WHU and Mikel.

Eddie earns a yellow and then proceeds to try to turn it into a red. Keep your head bro, you're vital to us now.

Wish someone else would have stepped up to Rice tbh. They left Eddie alone

Far from a pretty match. We had the more and the better of the chances but couldn't find a way to open it up wider than just the 1-goal margin.

But the result will do. Keeping the NLD in play as the decider.

    Onward!

After that losing streak I really never would have imagined this was possible!

All that matters is stacking that column with Ws. Nothing else. End of the year if we take top 4, no one will care about winning ugly at WHU.

They can now ******** off and lose their SF, and we move onwards and upwards.

David Moyes on TV saying Holding had used his hand prior to the goal. Just said "Sometimes they get it wrong"... wow. He also says West Ham is "too honest" etc., Sour grapes.

I don't see how White is better. Or rather it's just marginal between them.

Holding was our best CB for a long time, he's always been my boy. But, it's good that the distinction isn't so large anymore.
