    Luchi Gonzalez.

Gives us some depth at forward and right wing. Young, cheap and worth a shot. We can always waive him in the spring if he doesn't work out.

I'd take a flyer on Luchi Gonzalez. When was the last time Byron Alvarez or The Brothers Klinger won the Hermann Award? He's only 22, and for the money (near minimum) he's not a bad depth move at striker.

Other than that, I don't want anyone. First Shaker Asad rumor I hear is my last as a Metro.

I say Rick Titus, I was impressed with him from what little I saw.

and this from soccer america confidential

"D.C. United has renewed its efforts to pry Dante Washington away from
Columbus while trying to find a taker for Jaime Moreno and his big
salary, with the Metros on the list of possibles"

Say no to Moreno, he is on the downfall and injury prone

Put on waivers=they suck. Why should we bother with castoffs, we should build through the draft

You're kidding me, right? Moreno is still a quality player on an awful team. He recognizes Hudson for a moron, and we could get him relatively cheap considering DC wants to clear room for an English player. I for one hope we can get Moreno.

Moreno would be a nice addition. In the meantime I see Bradley taking Gonzalez or Sommer, whoever is still available at #2

Why take Sommer? That seems kind of silly, we have Grafer who is great at his job, best backup in the league.

I'd like to see us take a nab at Fuller, Luichi and Gonzalez, any two of those three to provide different looks coming off the bench.

    3. Kansas City Wizards
    4. Chicago Fire

Didn't Shannon want too much money??? I thought that is why they didn't sign him in the first place...

Musa Shannon is awful. The only one I'd want is Gonzalez. Of course, I'd take Billy Walsh just to spice up the boards.

Doesn't Zak Ibsen sound like someone who should be a Metro. His name, I mean. Just the way it sounds.

We should pick up Villegas and Zambrano ;)

No seriously, what about Lassiter? Looking at the options I would consider Moreno and Lassiter. We really need a better defense bu there's no one on the list I like. The best the waivers have to offer are forwards. Lassiter and Moreno used to be great. I still think they have something left in them (Moreno more than Lassiter). I'd take a shot at one of them.

Billy Sleeth -- Bradley drafted him in first round last season, made 13 appearances for the Fire....speedy defender might be a possibility....probably makes league minimum...

Key point here is the phrase "...USED TO BE GREAT." Lassiter has no shown anything in the last two years. As for Moreno, who do you want to give up for him? I would rather leave him in DC than give up anything for him.

The problem is he counts as a Senior International.
