i'd like to see who people think should go assuming we have to cut someone...my candidates are:

    Joe Addo
    Kenny Arena
    Chris Leitch
    Jeff Matteo (my frontrunner)

i think bob may like addo's veteran presence in the locker room/practice, as well as his positive approach to his role, and the depth he provides at D...kenny if he stays, would be for obvious reasons, since we're stacked at D-Mid and he should never start for us...even without his trapping clinic, i still question why leitch got to see the field...jeff moore shouldnt go, he proved he can hang with us when given the chance, and is probably cheap enough to stay on the bench...future considerations in 2013 for matteo sounds good, or we could just cut him...thoughts?

Matteo is going to be a DP. He's safe.

Keep Matteo, I like the way he nutmegged Metro during halftime warm-ups.

I like Jeff Moore, but if we're building for the future ... he ain't it.

    Tim Gloweinka
    or
    Joe Addo

Jeff Moore is a utility player. We need that.

Addo's best days are behind him and we will save money down the road so maybe trade him for a future pick to anyone.

There appears to be just under 150K available to hire the two Argentines Galvan and Forchetti

Galban should be able to play RM and replace Guevara when he's on national team duty

Part of the 150K involves Addo's salary, who has been told he may be traded or waived. Addo has indicated that he has made his millions and won't mind being waived for a younger player

Addo was a great player, and is now aging and slowing down. Forchetti is a CB who is 22 years old and iis an Argentine on the way up, so he would be the logical #3 CB.

The other choices to be cut
would be Matteo or Glowienka as we have 7 players in the P40/Develoment pen, so one DV player will have to go

I don't think people should be too quick to get rid of Addo. Pope will be missing time for national team duty, and we'll need someone who can step in without our defense turning back into swiss cheese.
