With the Ducks in the Stanley Cup Finals, there is the very real possibility that the city of Anaheim (and by extension Orange County, California) will enjoy its second sports championship in less than a year.

But should the New Jersey Devils and Nets prevail in their respective conference championship series, the Continental Airlines Arena roomies will be contending for the titles in their respective sports.

Anyone think either of these unwitting meccas of sport will hold twin championship banners in the same year?

In your answer, feel free to include the following:

    1) Disney conspiracy theories.
    2) The mob, i.e. bad Sopranos-inspired stereotypes.
    3) Jokes about "the smell" (NJ), smog, (ANA) or those unworthy lame suburbanites (both).

I don't know much about hockey, but Anaheim seems like they have a very good chance because of their goalie.

It won't be New Jersey because the Nets will definitely not beat San Antonio or Dallas.

North Jersey and LA: the 2 shittiest areas of these great United States.

Anyway, Anaheim has a much better shot since they already have 1 championship and 1 team in the finals. Both Jersey teams are still in the conference finals.

Plus in order for Jersey to get 2 championships, the Nets would need to win the NBA championship, and regardless of who wins the Eastern conference, Dallas or San Antonio is going to win the NBA finals in no more than 5 games.
