Well Yallop is quoted as saying Mulrooney, Dunivant and Mullan are in, but not LD (whos being given the time off to recover from the last 11 months of a full soccer schedule, as well probably to accomodate possible offseason surgery of some kind). So I thought I would start a thread where we put together any individual call ins as well as rampant speculation on who may be in for any given team. Likely these are the only 3 in for the quakes I would guess at this point, although its possible someone else could be added.

Garcia, Razov, Twellman, Noonan, Onyewu, Martino,Olsen, Klein, Beckerman, Borchers, Buddle, and Casey are a few names that come to mind for the USMNT camp in January. I really thing we need two or three friendlies between now and the next MLS season to add some new blood to our player pool.

Alot of the guys that deserve a call up with the national team are going to be having camps with the under 23's in dec and jan to get ready for qualifier. They probably will be playing against the national players during dec and jan...

There are rumors floating around that there will be a friendly in mid January (on or around the 18th, I think). I don't think there is a break for the Euro based players, so I wouldn't expect to see many, if any of them.

Here are some I would expect to get called in

    GK: Brown, Walker, Hartman
    D: Pope, Boca*, Heydude, Califf
M: Convey, DMB*, Olsen, Martino, Armas,
    F: Buddle, McBride, Donovan, Rozov

There could be come players like Barret called in, who are on the fringes of the National team and are in Europe, but I don't expect any of our big guns to be called in (the 3 keepers, Reyna, JOB, Lewis)

*I think they will be in Europe, but if they stay they will be called in

Definitely some new blood in centerbacks.

    Yi, Onyewu, Borchers, Curtin

If German league is on break I would expect to see Gibbs.

    err, Bump...

was just wondering if any of you soccer insiders had more info on this, as having spent the early afternoon reading Connolly's post-MLS cup articles on espn, as well as some other pre-cup articles, it seems like we are in for two upcoming camps, December and January, and are starting to have a bit of info on who may be in attendance, i.e., Brian Mullan will be a the December camp and Richard Mulrooney will not be, as he has other "contractual" obligations (both from Connolly articles...)

    so, any informed speculation...?
