YOu have three coming from Chicago here. YOu guys were my favorite team before we had one in Chicago. so add +3 to that 60k that will be there.
Site wide roll call is the link in my signature.... I'll be there with the Mrs. and a few other firends/family.
I'll be there with my brother, my wife, and my two kids. Normally it's just me and my son or me and my wife. My brother came to a couple of games with me and now he's hooked too!
I'm not sure it's a good idea to bring little kids to the Fort. 1. Occasinal foul language, shouting and screaming. The worst it got for the group chant was "You suck!" But individuals get pretty worked up at the refs and fouls. 2. Most people stand for the entire match, blocking kids' views. Otherwise, it's the only section with anything resembling atmosphere.
Who's coming to the game? 1) The people who've been there all 7 years. YES!!!!! 2) I'm bringing 6 people with me to the Fort. They already know they'll be standing! Scott, see you and your kids there! -amy
My kids (youngest is 10) started going into the back of the Fort late this year, going there at halftime (back when the Fort was always "sold out"). I'm sure that's the only place we'll be next year. All we need is one "vertically challenged" person in any of the seats ahead of us and we're fine. I'll be at the game with 2 kids, each of whom is bringing a friend to their first MLS game. Unfortunately, we won't be in the Fort.
me, my son and 32 friends and coworkers I got tickets for. Wish I was getting a commission...that was almost $900 on my credit card.
Me, about 35 middle school aged players and about 35 of their parents and friends (I think the ticket guy told me we were at the top of the sections of The Fort). Yes, I was wary of taking kids into that section but it was the only tickets in the price range left so I didn't have much of a choice. Then again, they've probably heard just as bad in school.
