Manchester United Since i have the YES channel, Which shows all Manchester United Premiership games and classics, this is the team that i have watched the most. Other teams i have only seen through ESPN coverage of Champions League games. And ESPN only shows one game. So Manchester United would be my pick

Thats a very tough question. Unconsciously most people would say that Real Madridis the most popular because of all their stars and the huge impression the team has made in the last 6 years.
This is a weird thread/poll. First, in the title you ask for Europe's most popular club, and then inside the thread you ask for our favorite club?
Well the only think you have to do is to see which team has won the most champions league cups in the last 10-15 years and you have the winner which is i think Real Madrid?
In the last 15 years Real Madrid have won 3 European Cups. Milan have also won 3 European Cups in the same time frame. And if you were broaden it to the last 16 years Milan have 4 European Cups. Real Madrid are undoubtedly the most successful club in European history. But their Euopean Cup triumphs are seperated by a long barren period of no titles. They won 6 titles from 1956-1966, and 3 titles from 1998-2002. In between they didn't win anything.
If I had to make a list of the most popular teams in North America, it'd be headed by English teams. BTW you forgot Celtic, undoubtedly one of the more popular teams in the known universe. 1. ManU 2. In order to determine this, i ask each of you to pick you favourite, then based on results the leader is the most popular as voted by being the favourite of most of sample group, simple enough? There are no thing like Europe´s most popular club. Its possible to measure the popularity by nation in millions and then make some sort of extrapolation. The most known club in Europe is Real Madrid without doubts, then teams like AC Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Inter,Bayern Munchen etc etc etc
Well, this is more liked the most popular club in bigsoccer. This is an English website. I am sure the results will be different if this is a Spanish website.

This is an english website watched mostly by americans. In europe you must list other teams too, like Liverpool, Schalke, Dortmund, Porto, Monaco, Belgrad, Marseille.... That are names of big clubs here. Arsenal, Chelsea and Ajax are not so big. They are only in their countries big.
Ajax is big, (although it is no longer the success squad it was 10 years ago), it has a huge 'network' that spans all over the globe. Youngsters from, basically, everywhere want to join the Ajax-youth. Arsenal and Chelsea are big, too. Just as big, or even bigger than, Liverpool I think.
ok let me give you the answer straight away, ok im a Arsenal Fc fan, but im going to be honest without doubt the most popular club in europe and in the world is manchester utd, they have 3 or 4 times the fan base as any of there nearest rivals such as inter milan or real madrid or b.munich and others. Ive been to japan many times, and all i see is fans or just every day normal people wearing a club jersey form either the english premier league or spain etc. MAn u is the most popular, and as long as its a english club im not too upset. from an english view the most popular dutch side is psv and ajax, simply they are a great side which prevides the premier league with top class duth young talent. (such as... van persie, robben,van nistelrooy etc) the most popular spanish side is a tough one, theres madrid because of the stars, barca, but valencia is starting to get the credit they deserve. french team thats popular, would be maircey(dont know how to spell it lol) and monaco plus paris saint germain. italy, i often see people wear juventus shirts around wear i live plus like as milan and inter tops too. BUT again man u has the biggest following.
OK, ManU is in the world great, but not in eureope so like Juve or Real. Arsenal becomes a name in Europe and in the world, but they win only local. Schalke (and Arsenal fans stands often together) have an higher name in Europe, like Dortmund (did Arsenal ever beat them?). However, Arsenal must win any european trophy to get big, the rest ist propaganda, for Chelsea the same rules. Schalke, Dortmund, Real, Valencia, AC, Inter and Juve did. (********ing Bayern too)
Schalke 04 are not a big team in Europe. They are just well supported in their region like Newcastle or Man City. They are certainly no-where near as big as Arsenal who are the biggest club (just) in the biggest city in Europe. Chelsea are also not a very big club. In England the biggest 4 clubs in terms of support are Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs. Behind them come Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea, Man City and Everton in no particular order. Arsenal have two European trophies, Spurs have 3. Schalke have 1 and Dortmund have 2.
Only 10 Clubs can be chosen and in my mind these are the ten i have selected as being very well supported. Also its throughout Europe and WORLD in terms of support not just Scotland or Germany....... YOU must have fans worldwide to be eligible and a grove of fans not just scattered bunch. Even Inter (last in this poll) is wildly popular worldwide !
I don't think winning a European trophy counts so much...I don't think past winners like Red Star Belgrade and Dynamo Kyiv are as famous now as Arsenal or Schalke 04 is in Europe. I guess it depends on when you last won a trophy.
Dynamo Kyiv and Red Star Belgrade are very well supported for teams in the weaker leagues in Europe. Porto, Celtic, Rangers all suffer because their leagues aren't as strong and competitive as Italy, Spain, England, Germany and even France.
