EPL- Beckham, Wayne Rooney or Henry (can't decide) Spanish League- Roberto Carlos MLS- DeMarcus Beasley Serie A- Edgar Davids Dutch League- John O'Brien Youth- Freddy Adu Just a few of my personal favs.
Then it would have to be Edgar Davids, he gets stuck into guys real hard, and i already pass like Zezou, so it would be like watching a bald French version of myself
Zizou, Beckham, and Ronaldo- but I've seen them. I didn't see Ajax play, but I met all of the stars and Koeman after a training session. Got everyone's autograph and managed to talk to JOB for a while and get a photo with him. Shevchenko was hurt while I was in Europe and Raul didn't play when I saw Madrid, so I'd like to see both of them. Cruyff and Best in their primes would also be awesome. Maradona and Pele too I suppose.
The only major european-based star I've not seen is Ronaldo, though if he is fit for the match against Man U that will be resolved. If I could choose to see any player play again it would have to be John Barnes circa 1988 -1991 or Cantona.
Which game was that? the only reason I want to see Ronaldo live is so I can sing "Who ate all the pies ?" at a reigning FIFA World Player Of The Year. I agree on Gazza, I saw vs. Hearts in his first season at Rangers. Great player.
I saw Ronaldo when Schalke 04 played Inter Milan in the 1997 UEFA Cup quarter-final, second leg. He was absolute cack and hardly had a kick all night, eventually being substituted for Nwankwo Kanu - who promptly scored the winner. The charming German crowd didn't sing "Who ate all the pies" but they did spend the whole night making monkey noises at every black player on the Inter team.
