When has Dayak ever done the kind of damage to anther player that Dema has done?

    A clueless comparison...

Sorry, I miswrote that. I meant to imply that Troy is one who fires the team up, not that he breaks legs a la Demon Kovalenko. M' bad.

fires the team up? that is so much of an understatement. The NE game is a true testimate to that, one of my favorite SJ games that we didn't win. :)

People seem to be predicting this as doom and gloom, but my impression is that he doesn't really want to play in Europe, that he'd really rather be able to stay here. As in, with his club, almost as if he would go to Europe because he's scared of getting traded to a lesser side. Not that I could blame him...

I don't know if I'd want a big 'marquee' player to replace Donovan. MLS hasn't determined the compensation yet for his loss. In some regards I'd like to leave it as is so we can retain players if/when they get raises. Avoid/minimize salary cap issues.
