Theres been a surprising amount of upside and talent sprouting up this season to be excited about that deserve calls into camp IMO, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. And I think we can finally leave Chris Albright at home because of it! That alone is reason to celebrate

Hunter Freeman; supplanted Marvel Wynne at RBNY and it looks like it is actually paying off. Freeman has been nothing but solid in RBNY's backline and may actually be a favorite to start in the Copa.

Michael Harrington; Ive been high on this guy since the beginning of the season. This guy is good, is gonna win rookie of the year by a landslide. Has two goals to his name already, has outstanding vision and puts in a mean cross. He can play either right or left back as well, and midfield. He's got the versatility card, and i think he gets called up ino the squad with only a half season under his belt. if it werent for Bornstein, Harrington would be playing in the Copa i think. He has the capacity to, id like to see him in at least one cop match.

Marvel Wynne; i havent seen alot of his play this season in all honesty, but today his performance was impressive. I think Freeman's got him beat out but he showed today he can turn on the afterburners and run from one side of the field to the other in about 5 seconds. Still think he deserves a call in, particularly if he plays as well as he did today. I heard criticism of him this year, ut i cant really say anything because i havent seen him play until today. If the Fire match is consistent, I see no reason why we cant bring him in. Id like to see him in at least one copa match as well; paraguay or columbia.

Jewsbury and Grabavoy are also names that stick out. Our right back position is apparently getting verrry deep. Center back, goalkeeper deep.

Burciaga is the likeliest. Bradley invited him to winter camp but jb couldn't attend.

Ned Grabavoy may be on good form in MLS, but he'll have a hard time getting called up due to our crowded central midfield situation. When you consider that we also have Ricardo Clark, Pablo Mastroeni, Benny Feilhaber, Brian Carroll, Ben Olsen, Kyle Beckerman, Sascha Kljestan and Kerry Zavagnin as potential options for this summer, it'll be tough for Grabavoy to earn a spot.

Here are a few names I will toss out as potential new guys for the summer (most likely Copa America):
    -Jose Burciaga Jr., LWB
    -Jeremiah White, RWM
    -Hunter Freeman, RB
    -Kamani Hill, ST

Hill is probably the unlikeliest, since we are crowded at striker as well, but I think of all our uncapped strikers who won't be at the U-20 World Cup, Hill is the likeliest to get a look. I believe he's had more first team club action than Charlie Davies (don't quote me on that though).
