Seconds are ticking off the clock, who do you want to take a free kick for you. I vote for Feyenoord's Pierre van Hooijdonk. I have seen make several amazing free kicks. Second, I pick Ronaldinho. Not just for his free-kick against England, but for his superb kicks for PSG.

I'd pick Beckham if I wanted to win, and Roberto Carlos if I wanted a lucky fan in the upper deck to leave with a game ball.

no way at beckham and lmao @ r. carlos.

the only thing in the world that would stop me from choosing P-Air van Hooijdonk would be the angle of the kick. if it were so far to the right side of the field i'd have to take a lefty.

pierre is definitely the best scorer off of a freekick.

In the near future you will see that Ajax youngster Wesley Sneijder is also a pretty good free kick taker.

He's not v Hooydonk yet (without a doubt the best free kick taker in the world. Nobody has scored so many so important goals from free kicks as him) but he has an amazingly well aimed shot.

  9. Yeah but he never scores from them

Beckham did well in the last game of the season when he hit that outswinger from the far side

I wish I could see more of this PSV character

A player named Felice Bavaro. Not long distance taker but 18 to 22 yards out he was a 50% scorer on FKS and that is great. That came from practicing them almost every day from 12 yrs old until now he is 30 yrs old. He doesn't practice them religiously anymore so that percentage went down.

He was a very good player and scorer, but he let his body go. So he is still a dangerous player at times but now for only the first 20 minutes. Which would not even make him a starter in any good adult league anymore.

Lately...Marcelinho Carioca (Vasco da Gama)...he seems to be hitting them at a 50% ratio and with style (stop and go move).

    Go tell Celtic.

I would pick Van Hooijdonk but I hate him for what he did to Forest so.... Becks, for his free kick against Greece.

he is from Feyenoord, not PSV.

maybe everone loves beckhams so much more cuz he is pretty, on a bigger team, or idk what, but van hooijdonk is the best scoring free kicker currently. look at him in the UEFA Cup last yr, look at him in the super cup or w/e vs casillas this yr, look at him making buffon look like a fool in the CL this yr. he is clutch and has the best accuracy i have ever seen.

    She's clutch, all right.

    I'd take her, as well.
