Calero is also a naturalized Mexican. His kids play with pachuca's youth teams

There is no doubt Pachuca will win this Copa Sudamericana. Ever since the competition got underway I have always predicted Pachuca will win. The game Toluca vs. Colo colo will be very interesting. Colo colo has been playing great footie, so is still uncertain what will happen. As far as Toluca you have to take into consideration that Tolo Gallego will not be taking the full roster. He will be mixing up players between the Conmebol competition and the MFL liguilla.

All I see Pachuca taking the cup all the way

right, because the chilean top players are playing in EUROPE (England, Italy and Spain basically).

The "medio pelo" players go to México (Galaz, S.González, Mancilla, I.Fuentes, etc):p

    ¿sure?

Last game was draw, and AGAIN OVER THERE.
(February 18, 2004, at L.A., 1:1, Navia made the goal).

Your NT never comes to South America to play, only for Copa América.

The only game in Chile against your NT (1996), we won, and without our better players.

i do believe Mexico beat Chile, not once, but twice in the same Copa America (1999).

MEX: Campos - Pardo, Márquez, Suárez, Carmona - Lara, Zepeda (45 Palencia), García Aspe (78 Sánchez), Ramírez - Hernández, Blanco (80 Chávez)

CHI: Marcelo Ramírez - Vargas, Miguel Ramírez, Rojas, Reyes - Parraguez, Acuña (74 González), Valencia (80 Palacios), Pizarro (65 Estay) - Zamorano, Salas

    -------------------------

not for nothing, but I have heard countless chilean players (Zamorano, Basay, Fugueroa, Estay, Valenzuela, Navia, Gonzales, etc) players admit that the Mexican NT is as of late superior to them.

I am aware some south american fans will refuse to admit it that Mexican soccer in general has improved, but those that do only say it by claiming that it has only gotten better because of the South American player. You might as well not give it credit then. Truth is 75% of the foreign player is a push over and does not last long in the Mexican league. For the 2003 Copa Libertadores, over 60 players participating in that tournament playing in non mexican teams had at one point or another played in Mexico and 95% of them did not amount to shyt. However, they were stars in their teams or at the minimum influential.

Again, they say "look at the goal scoring list, 60-70% of them are not even Mexican." Gee, most leagues also are like that. look at the Colombian league--they went 50 years without having a Colombian top the goal scoring sheets. We have gone 5 (wowwww, big woopdy do). We have had more Mexicans top the goal socring charts than we have foreigners.

but--those that say its because of the foreigner---what about the NT? We are either on par or better than most South American NTs

With Ramírez like goalie, hasta México nos gana:D

I never heard/read that they said something like that.
They have good words for the Mexican CHAMPIONSHIP, THE CLUBS.

    Yeah, keep improving...
    Angola 0 Mexico 0...:D

And for the clubs good results we all know the reason: $$$ and FOREIGNERS.;)

    ¿Most leagues?
Maybe in Spain and England and Mexico.
Not in most leagues: in Brazilian league, Argentine league, Paraguayan league, Uruguayan league, Chilean league, etc

    I repeat: Angola 0 Mexico 0.

I think you're improving, but no so much.

Maybe most of southamerican NT's can beat Angola.

Colo-Colo dominando ampliamente.

just saying if you want to take credit for people from other countries thats your business.

the top mexican players also play in Europe (Spain, Holland, Germany basically).

even our worst players wouldn't be caught dead playing in Chile:p

    this isn't World rivalries ;)
