How is the US deep in every position? Less than half of the starting team plays in a real league. Italy and Czech both trump that number. Most of the US team doesn't ever play on a real world stage. What team have they beaten in the top ten or twenty recently? Mexico is it. Poland was a fluke goal in a friendly. Poland kicked their butts in the last WC. I predict they still advance....in a close one. US & Czech tie game 1 Italy beats US in game 2 Ghana losses by one goal to US in game 3. US takes second place with four points in the tie breaker with Czech. Italy wins bracket with 6 points.
No one here seems to remember the fact that three of Czech's starters are listed as questionable. When you have three of your stars not sure if they can play that can do a lot to your team's morale. I truly believe that this group is going to be the closest group as far as points go and one tie can decide the whole outcome.
