Assuming Nick Sak decides to make a change, who are the candidates.

    Dave Dir
    Mooch Myernick
    Thomas Rongen

    John Kowalski?

Are you sure you want Thomas Rongen to be the Metro's head man? DC and New England would love to see him do to the Metros like what he did to them. ;)

    I don't want him, but I'm sure he'll be a candidate.

What about the DC Assistant - Onalfo?

    Any MLS assistants?

What about San Jose Assistant coach Dominic Kinnear?

He sounds like a good choice.

Okay Dominic Kinnear is in the loop.

    Brian Bliss?

Some guy named Perez, from LA, I believe.

I wouldn't mind giving Brian Bliss a try at all. Bliss is a former Metro, and he cut his teeth in coaching as a reportedly very good assistant. As it is, apparently, Nick Sack-o-shitz isn't interested in getting any season tickets renewed, as he already told the NY Times that he's not ready to fire OZ.

Bliss reportedly hated having to live in the NYC area when he played for the Metro. It can't be an anti-Northeast thing, because he later ended up coaching the CT Wolves, I believe. Maybe he can stay up in the hard-hittin' vicinity of a certain Bigsoccer poster and commute.

Nick S. is quoted in the NY Times as being loyal to Oz. Nick thinks Oz isn't the problem. Ah, music to my ears.

I guess it means 8/9 teams make the playoffs. You got to like those odds :)

Oz is only half the problem. The other half doesn't think Oz is the problem.

Fernando Clavijo - he has 2 more years on his contract. It wouldn't be the forst time these guys pulled in a failed coach. Maybe it'll be Thomas Rongren he has time on his contract still.

Don't count out Dave Sarachan making himself available.

Why? Zambrano has done as good a job screwing up the team as Rongen would have.

That would have been my suggestion.

The only solution is to make Clint Mathis player/coach.

What if Arena decided not to coach the USMNT anymore. Would he be a candidate?

Osiander stopped coaching in the early 90's.

Clavijo must be the man for the New York job.

Well, he signed some of the players...

Imagine the anger management issues then.

Listen, you guys are making Mathis look like some raging fat bastard on the field.

He is anything but. I'd rather have some of his passion on the field, then the way the nats used to be when other teams would bend us over and brutally beat us. What would we do? Nothing!!!!!!!!

Back then, we were asking for more passion. Now that we have it in the form of Mathis, no one wants it.

I've already said it, if the Metrostars keep Nick and OZ I am boycotting the team. I will become a DCU fan for the season, it wont' be hard.

I love Clint, but I'd be mad as well if I was playing for Octi.
