i know its not looking bright right now for toronto but there will be a point in the season when they gell and will out score the mls scoring leader. playoffs? probably out of the question but i dont think they'll have the worst record either, there team really ist that bad talent wise

Not only will I say that Twellman gets more goals then their whole side, but I will also say Andy Dorman will get more. Andy's tied with their whole team right now.

Anyone else surprised with our offensive prowess thusfar?

It's amazing what a happy Twellman has meant to the team.

I am a bit surprised. The question is can we continue this all year long, or will it fall apart when Twellman leaves for USMNT duty?

    No.

Ralston looked young and sharp in the preseason and Twellman is happy. If Ralston performs, Twellman scores, no coicidence in that.

    Actual phone call:

Dad: Boy, that goal by Taylor Twellman was a nice one. Isn't he the guy I said looked like crap when I saw them play against KC?
Julie: Yeah, He has been playing really well this season. I think he is very happy with the contract they gave him in the off-season.
Dad: If that was all it took, they should have given him the money last season. So, why did it take so long to get him the money?
    Julie: I don't know Dad.

Actual conversation with my dad, yesterday:

Dad: I was glad the Pats had a bad taste in their mouths from losing to the Colts, went right out and spent money and got players. That’s what you have to do.
    Me- Yup.
Dad- Why didn’t the Revs sign anybody big after losing last year?
Me- Don’t get me started, Da. I have no idea.

    To continue the trend:

Me: Hey Dad, want to take me to the Revs/Ireland doubleheader for my birthday?
    Dad: Sure.
    Me: Booyah!

I think that little sports hernia surgery had a little more to do with it than a happier paycheck...

Me: Hey dad, did you see the Revs-LA game?
Dad: Who the hell are the Revs?

    :D

I kid, I kid, he's not really a soccer guy but I drag him to a game a year.
