Don't know why people think Villa will drop out of the top 5. They can't really score, but defense and midfield has been solid, and Sorensen has done well.

I guess if a quality striker comes in then they will be good enough to stay in top 5.

I'm not 100% convinced that the current bottom 3 (charlton, Watford, and Shef Utd) will be the 3 going down. I think Watford lacks the quality to get enough wins to stay up (look at all the draws).

However, Sheffield United has shown that they can get enough wins to sneak in there at 16 or 17th place at the end of the year. Charlton is certainly capable of turning it around, they have the firepower up front to do that.

I would love to see Newcastle United get relgated. But I'm also content with seeing Middlesborough go down and to a lesser extent West Ham Utd and Blackburn Rovers.

Ive noticed that some have either bolton or portsmouth taking the final CL spot but dosent this seem to happen every season some smaller club keeps pace but then after the new year they lose pace and end up slugging it out for a uefa cup spot while the usual suspects ease their way in to 4th

Cheers for the votes of confidence, but there's no way Portsmouth will stay in the top 5. We'll still be up there at the new year, but our last 10-12 games are terrible and we'll drop. I think we'll end up 9th or 10th.

I would love to see you run out and play in the middle of traffic. However, it doesn't look like either of us will be getting our wish.

Don't call me mate, it makes me feel dirty.

And no Rossi is a waste of space, he can't play in Europe and to be honest he isn't really that good.
